An intimate elopement in the forest of Big Bear.
The most beautiful summer day in the mountains for a gorgeous elopement. We spent the day shooting Margeuax and Isaac in Big Bear. We started at the cutest Airbnb that they rented! A casual, relaxed start to a session allowed them to get more comfortable in front of the camera. Being in front of the camera can be daunting at first, so starting casual is a great introduction and ice-breaker for an elopement day. We then went to Into the Woods, a new up and coming wedding venue in the heart of the Big Bear Mountains. This venue is perfect for couples who want a rustic, woodsy vibe for their special day. When you arrive, you're completely in nature. The tall, towering trees is a beautiful backdrop for exchanging vows, and the overall feel is very peaceful. It's completely outdoors so it was perfect for the summer. Afterwards, we went to Big bear Lake just as the sun was setting. We stumbled upon the MOST amazing green field by the lake. As the sun was setting, the lake turned pink and purple. The sky became darker shades of cotton candy, and the sun slowly hit the mountains as it descended. I felt like I was in a fairytale watching this happen in front of me. The colors were so vivid and romantic, it was the perfect way to end such a beautiful day.
There was an incredible team of wedding vendors that came up to big Bear for this special day. Custom flowers, stationary, and a tables cape were created for these two.
