You're probably searching and searching for the most perfect place to take beautiful, breathtaking photos to document your engagement in the Los Angeles area. You're not really the "city" type of couple and you love watching beautiful sunsets cascading down the mountains. This might be the perfect place for you! About 30 minutes outside of DTLA, Malibu Creek State Park offers beautiful backdrops that surround you with nature. As a popular hiking spot with lots of trails, it's the perfect place to get a break from the busy-ness of LA .
I spent the afternoon with Olivia and Joey at their favorite place to hike. We enjoyed the gloomy weather (it was a beautiful rainy day in December). The views of the mountains were breathtakingly vibrant and green, which was the perfect backdrop for these two lovebirds to celebrate their engagement. After we spend some time in the field of the park, we headed over to their favorite date spot about 20 minutes away from Malibu Creek State Park. Just the cutest little Old Topanga street lined with small businesses and artsy shops. It's the sweetest little area that is perfect if you're craving the pace of a small town with the convenience of driving less than an hour outside of Los Angeles.
