The Couple

Jessica and Austin have been best friends for years!! They are so so thoughtful and warm, and it is so obvious with the way they treat their closest friends and family. Jessica and Austin wanted their day to only be about the important things. Their unity, love, and family. They weren't interested in doing anything that didn't reflect them. Jessica and Austin created the best vibes so that their guests felt comfortable and taken care of. Everything was intentional, which made this wedding unique. As a Los Angeles wedding photographer, I love when couples focus on their values for their wedding day.

The Venue

The French Estate is a charming little gem in the middle of a cute neighborhood of Orange. It's beautiful, and you can tell that this house has a lot of history. The French Estate is charming and quaint. Perfect for smaller weddings and couples who want an intimate setting. Upon walking in, the ceremony area greets you with tall trees, greenery, and the front porch of the house where the ceremony takes place. Small touches of dried florals and drapery made the space feel complete. Around the corner, there are seating areas and a non fire pit. This is where Jessica and Austin had the seating chart and the phone booth. At the tone is probably the most fun and unique experiences that guests can interact with! When you pick up the phone, you hear the couple leaving a sweet message. You’re then prompted to leave your own personal message. The couple. The guests had a lot of fun with this one. As you keep walking around to the back of the house, string lights frame tables decorated with disco balls and their very own newsletter. The space was very open, but the coziness was all there. Jessica and Austin danced the night away with their favorite people under the lights. What I love about this venue is the convenient layout! Everything is so close together, which is very convenient.

The Details

Jessica and Austin poured so much into their wedding day. Down to the details, everything reflected them as a couple- fun, alternative, and full of love. The day was filled with lots of tears and smiles as each guest congratulated the two lovebirds throughout the night. Jessica and Austin are also huge fans of music. They had their favorite band, This Wild Life, come and perform! Jessica and Austin's first dance was "Better With You." The live music, the lights, and the dance was the perfect romantic setting. This was definitely a highlight of the whole day. Knowing how much this band meant to them, it was so heartwarming for them to finally get their moment that they so badly deserved. Dinner was catered by Tacos Zapata and there was an ice cream cart for dessert. Jessica and Austin's wedding was truly so special and I am so grateful to have been there to capture it!

The Experience

Here's what the couple had to say about their experience with me:

"Breanna, I don't think we will ever find the words to express how thankful we are. Your passion and talent truly shows. From day 1 of the process, we already knew we wanted to have you photograph our wedding. The initial call just felt so natural, as if we were friends picking up a conversation. You were there every step of the way; rooting us on as we awkwardly tried to pose in front of the camera, running to get paper towels before our first look because the flowers were dripping and stained my hand, and corralling our crazy family. You took us from being an hour behind schedule to ahead of schedule in no time. Thank you for your time, guidance, professionalism, and everything else in between. Whenever we look on our walls or see our phone's wallpaper, we smile - and we have these captured memories because of you. "
